A Message of Truth to Egypt's Government
Wednesday, 13 January 2010

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever of you sees an evil deed should change it with his hand [by acting], or if he cannot do that, then with his tongue [by speaking out], or if he cannot do that, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith."

(Sahih Muslim)

Brave, young man speaks out against Egyptian police after Viva Palestina convoy was attacked and many members of the convoy were arrested and seriously wounded.

May Allah smile upon this brother and bless him and his family with the best of this life and in the akhira. Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.

WWJD - What Would Jesus Do if He Were Here Today?
Friday, 25 December 2009

As the Christians, who will be celebrating a false pagan holiday called "Christmas" on Dec. 25, we the Muslims would like to address an issue which they might want to look into and consider. As we all try to please the all-Mighty through our actions, the action of celebrating "Christs Mass" is an action that will not be accepted by the supreme Creator. We would like to address a practical approach and want the Christians to view this matter through the eyes of Jesus(pbuh) as if he were here today. Have a read at this article and truly live your lives like the way Jesus(pbuh) lived:

The Lesson From the Life of Ibraheem(as) ‘s Struggle.
Friday, 27 November 2009

Verily Allah (SWT) sent the Messenger Muhammad (saw) as a Rahmah-mercy for Mankind. Through him Allah (SWT) revealed the Qur’an, which contains many lessons for us in the narratives of the previous Messengers. The struggle of Ibraheem (as) against the tyrant of his time, Nimrod, is not dissimilar to the situation in which the Muslims find themselves in after the 11th September 2001. Ibraheem (as)’s life is also significant to this time of year when millions of Muslims make the annual Hajj-pilgrimage to Makkah. We hope to reflect on some of the lessons below insh'Allah.

March For Sharee'ah UK
Tuesday, 20 October 2009

Introduction

 March 4 Sharee'ah

Undoubtedly, Islaam and the Shari'ah have reached new heights in the United Kingdom, Muslim communities up and down the country have brought forth a culture and system that is not only superior to the British way of life but also a shining example of what true subservience to Almighty God can bring to a society drowning in disbelief and oppression.

Recent months have been particularly debilitating for the British population who have struggled to get by as basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter have become more cumbersome to obtain. The MPs' expenses scandal that shocked the nation unfortunately also demonstrates the cruel indifference the British government has towards its citizens and moreover how they appear to be more concerned with wasting public money on personal frivolities than investing it for the betterment of society.

As a result of this perpetual malaise, Islam4UK with the help of sincere Muslims launched a series of Islamic Roadshow's that provided a real answer to the problems faced by the British community; with over 16 different locations already hit including, Birmingham, Slough, Lewisham, Peckham and Green Street, approximately 70 men and women have embraced Islaam, reinforcing the dire need for Shari'ah in contemporary Britain.

In light of all this, Islam4UK would like to declare the launch of a spectacular procession that will take place on 31st October 2009.

We hereby request all Muslims in the United Kingdom, in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and all other places to join us and collectively declare that as submitters to Almighty Allaah (SWT), we have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture. On this day we will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system its members and legislature, and demand the full implementation of Shari'ah in Britain.

In forthcoming days, Islam4UK will also publish, as a run up to this special event, a fascinating insight into how Britain's architecture, transport and culture will be revolutionised under the Shari'ah. Watch out for articles including:

Trafalgar Square under the Shari'ah
Football Stadiums under the Shari'ah
Pubs under the Shari'ah
Buckingham Palace under the Shari'ah

Keep updated with www.Islam4UK.com to see the Islamic blueprint of the remarkable changes that will occur in Britain as it transforms into a thriving Islamic State.

Where will the procession take place?

First Stop: House of Commons

House of Commons

The primary source of polytheistic legislation in Britain, the House of Commons is at the centre of Britain's oppressive law making policies; from here fallible men and women decide what should be legal and illegal. It is from this very place where the lives of millions of people in the UK are changed and it is from here where unjust wars are launched.

Islam4UK stewards and guides will be at hand to direct all attendees to the centre of the congregation from where the March for Shari'ah will officially commence.

Second Stop: 10 Downing Street

10 Downing Street

Almost 300 years old, 10 Downing Street is the official residence of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Gordon Brown, the current Prime Minister, is one of the chief figures in making laws and regulating the affairs of society. In the last few years, he has undoubtedly brought Britain down to an all new low and appears to be truly blind to the damaging impact of his oppressive bureaucracy.

After demanding the abolishment of the House of Commons Muslims will then march to 10 Downing Street, and call for the removal of the tyrant Gordon Brown from power.

Third Stop: Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square

A site of significant historical value, Muslims will gather even more support from tourists and members of the public, making clear in the heart of London the need for Shari'ah in society.

Fourth Stop: Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace

This is the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns including Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II, is undoubtedly at the source of all immoral laws in Britain; in receipt of millions of pounds in benefits from the public purse she is also the key signatory in validating all laws passed in the United Kingdom, and ultimately is the final step in which all members of parliament must pass in order for their laws and amendments to achieve fruition.

The final stop for the March for Shari'ah, Muslims in conjunction with Islam4UK will call for the complete abolishment of the British monarchy in favour of an Islamic system that provides real justice and immediate solutions to the problems faced in every borough in the United Kingdom.

Kullu amo Wa Antum bikhair - EID MUBARAK!
Saturday, 19 September 2009

Allah (azza wa jall) said,“Verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood and I am your Rabb (only God and Sustainer) and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other). But (later generations) cut off their affair (of unity) one from another: (yet) will they all return to Us.” (Qur’ân 21:92-93)

It is related by abu Musa Ash'ari (radiAllahu anhu) that The Messengerof Allah said "The connection between Muslims is like that of a strong building - one part strengthens another." The Prophet then showed this by interlocking the fingers of one hand with those of the other (that muslims should remain united and combined - thereby streghthening one another).

1st Day of Ramadhan?
Friday, 21 August 2009

Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that Muhammad (saw) said "When the month of Ramadhan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained." [Saheeh Bukhari]

Every year the Muslims fall into the same old discussions and arguments about the commencement of Ramadhan, what night to start off the Tarawih prayer, so we can get up for Suhoor have something to eat and fast during the day since that will be the first fast of Ramadhan. We can begin by stating some obvious facts, the moon is the creation of Allah, there is only one moon, the moon is not nationalistic and it does not beget and does not reincarnate. Below we present some common cases cited to justify having different starting dates for Ramadhan with their Islamic refutations.

Time Zones - Last year Libya and Nigeria started their Ramadhan on Sunday, the majority of the world fasted on Monday and the Iranians and Pakistanis fasted on Tuesday. What should we expect when we have apostate regimes with hypocrites in power and we do not have one Caliph whose final view is binding upon the Ummah. The ‘time zones' argument does not really hold water because the biggest time difference anyone country can have is 12 hours e.g. UK and Australia which means we all share the same 24 hour day.

Every Land Has Its Own Sighting - This seems to stem from a stubborn Madhab (school of thought) point of view and is popular with the Hanafites. They use the narration in Saheeh Muslim that describes Ibn Abbas (ra) not fasting the same day as Muawiyya (ra). Unfortunately the key parts of the narration seem to have been forgotten i.e. Muawiyya (ra) resided in Damascus where the moon was sighted on a Thursday and Ibn Abbas (ra) resided in Medina and fasted the following day (Saturday). The reality was that the distance between Syria and Hijaz (630 miles) prevented communication from being transmitted instantly. The people did not have mobile phones, email and fax machines. Today with the blessing of Allah (SWT) we do not have any difficulty in communicating globally.

Rely on Science - Whilst the fact remains there have been advancements in technology the digital age cannot be overridden by the divine text. The bedouins and nomads at the time of the Prophet (saw) were masters of the desert and used the stars to calculate their geographical orientation and physical position on earth drawing mental maps. So to assume we are superior to them in working out the skies is not entirely true. With all this knowledge available at the fingertips of the Prophet (saw) Muslims were still instructed to rely on the physical eye. Today we can use the telescopes and formulae as guides but the viewing of the moon must be natural. Abu Hurairah (ra) said Allah's Messenger (saw) said, "Whenever you sight the new moon (of the month of Ramadhan) observe fast, and when you sight it (the new moon of Shawwal) break it, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then observe fast for thirty days." [Saheeh Muslim] the wording of the Hadith is very clear the moon must be sighted by the naked eye.

Mathematical Astronomy - The only calculation Muslims can do to determine when Ramadhan starts is to add one (+1) Ibn Umar (ra) reported that the Prophet (saw) said, "We are an illiterate nation; we neither write, nor know how to do accounts. The month is like this and this. (the Prophet (saw) indicated this by opening and closing the palms of his hands three times on the last time the thumb was folded (i.e. 29 days) and sometimes of thirty days)." [Saheeh Bukhari] Its also been narrated by Ibn Umar (ra) that the Prophet (saw) said, "The month consists of twenty nine days, but do not fast till you sight it (the moon) and do not break your fast till you sight it. If the weather is cloudy (meaning you cannot see the moon), calculate (add one) it to thirty days." [Sunan Abu Dawood]

Safe Option Some people would like to exercise the idea that we can fast a few days before Ramadhan enters and this will make sure we do not slip up by missing a day of fasting. Ibn Abbas (ra) narrated that Muhammad (saw) said, "Do not fast one day or two days just before Ramadhan except in the case of a person who has been in the habit of observing a fast (on that day)." [Sunan Abu Dawood] Also our beloved Messenger Muhammad (saw) said Whoever fasts the day of doubt has disobeyed Abul Qasim (i.e. the Prophet (saw))." [Sunan Ibn Majah].

Other baseless arguments have been presented such as following the local Masjid, follow the majority, follow the Saudis (the home of Islam) follow MINAB (a body baptised by the government). We sincerely advise the Muslims to stick to the divine revelation (Quran and Sunnah) based upon the understanding of the best generations (Salaf) in all of our affairs. At a time when the devils and their associates are being chained up the last thing we should be doing is accumulating more sin which is totally unnecessary and avoidable if we stick to the clear and established proofs. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, "Indeed I have left you upon a clear white path, its night is like its day. No one deviates from it after me, except that he is destroyed." [Sunan of Ibn Majah]

"The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong)." [EMQ 2:185]
10 Sins of Democracy
Tuesday, 28 July 2009

This is a brief review which explains some of the destructive and dangerous effects resulting from plunging into the quagmire of democracy by which many people have been deceived due to putting on their hopes on it even though it is clearly against the methodology of Allah, just as what we are going to explain in this brief study, especially that there have been a lot of bitter experiences encountered by those people who have been deceived by this game and where its diversion and debauchery aspects were shown.

1. The system of Democracy makes us forgetful towards the confrontation in behavior between jahiliyah and Islam, which is the haqq and batil. Due to the fact that the existence of either one of them allows the extinction of the other, it is not ever possible for the two to mix together. Anyone who thinks that through the general election, the jahil fractions will submit all the institutions to Islam is mistaken, as this is clearly in contrast to the rationality, nash and sunan (decision of Allah) which had taken place to the earlier ummahs.

"On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing)" (Surat Faathir: 43)

2. The system of democracy will cause the decay in the values of true aqeedah which was believed and practiced by Rasulullahsaaws.gif and the noble Sahabahs. It will cause the spread of bid'ah, of not studying and teaching the true aqeedah to mankind because its teachings cause divisions amongst the party members. In fact, it could make someone to be excluded from the party that it can reduce the total number of votes and voters.

3. The system of democracy does not differentiate between the ‘alim and the jahil, between the mu’meen and the kafir, and between the male and the female, because they all have the same right to speak, without looking at the advantages from the shar'i point of view, whereas Allah swt.gif says:

"...Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? ..." (Surat Az-Zumar: 9)

And:

"Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they" (Surat As-Sajdah: 18)

And also:

"Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? What is the matter with you? How judge ye?" (Surat Al-Qalam: 35-36)

4. This system causes divisions amongst the da’wah activists and Islamic jamaah, because a section of them plunge and move within this system (whether they want it or not) that would make them support and defend as well as endeavor to make a good name and in turn they would be against anyone who is opposed by this system, while at the same time they support as well as defend anyone who is supported and defended by this system. Therefore, in the end fatwas would be twisted without any certainty between those who allow and forbid, between those who praise and criticize.

5. Under the shade of democratic system the issue of wala' and bara' becomes unclear and vague and because of this there are people who embrace and are involved in this system trying to justify by stating that their discords with the socialist party, ba'athist party and other secular parties are only limited to discords in the subject of program only, not a discord in the subject of manhaj and that it is not much different from the discords that happen between the four madzhabs. And they conducted the bond of agreement and confederation so as not to takfeer each other and not to betray amongst themselves, due to that they say that let there be discords but don’t let it spoil the love and affection between us!!

6. This system aims at the establishment of an illusive confederation with the secular parties, as what is happening today.

7. It’s very dominant that for the people who move in the quagmire of democracy, their intention is flawed, as every party strives and aims to defend its party as well as (abusing) making the most of all available facilities and tools to assemble and influence the masses in its surroundings, especially the tools and mediums which have the religious tones such as talks, giving of advices, ta'lim, shadaqah and others.

8. Plunging into the quandary of democracy will also result in the impairment of the noble akhlaq values such as honesty, transparency, the fulfillment of promises and the prevention of lies, pretension and the breaking of promises.

9. Therefore, democracy would also generate a haughty character while belittling others, as well as being proud of each of their own view because what turns into the concern is the defending of it (the view). And Allah   says:

"But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself" (Surat Al-Mu'minun: 53)

10. If we pay a close attention and thorough analyzation, acknowledging and pledging to democracy means “stabbing” (blaspheming) the Prophets and their discourse (missions of Prophethood), because if al-haq (the truth) is to be deduced from the voice of the people’s majority there is no point for the Messengers to be sent and the books to be revealed, especially that it’s normal for the teachings brought by the Messengers to dispute the majority of the mankind who profess to the misguided aqeedah, deviate and have the jahilliyah traditions.
